Provides expertise and supervision to escrow support staff in a centralized clerical processing unit that processes all documentation associated with the initiation or closing of Real Estate escrows. Relieves branches of high volume paperwork for higher quality customer service and to provide time for promoting and generating new business.
Essential Functions
- Primary purpose of role is supervision. Supervise a team of Escrow Support Personnel.
- Assist with all personnel management, ensure appropriate wage and work hour laws are followed, and provide input to goal setting for the functional area.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to the Manager.
- Define delivery of services and monitor quality control.
- May communicate information, instructions and issues to Branch personnel.
- Provide training to employees in Escrow Support Center and Escrow branches.
- Support closing transaction by setting appointments, assembling documents, checking documents for completeness and accuracy, and answering escalated questions.
- Complete closing by recording and filing documents. Distribute final closing statements and title.
- Comply and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve escalated problems.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and escrow-related software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Knowledge of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Research and problem-solving skills.
- Successful track record of executing day to day operational responsibilities, along with participating in, developing and completing projects in area of expertise.

Typical EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typical Range of Experience- Familiarity with P&Ls
- 3-5 years of directly related experience with loan closings
- 2 years demonstrated experience in a lead or supervisory role
