The First Baptist Church of Clarendon Child Development Center is looking for a qualified professional to provide care for infants. The successful candidate must have a genuine love for babies. They must also have unlimited patience. They must also demonstrate respect for babies in every interaction they have with them.
Responsibilities
- Design a developmentally appropriate in practice and expectation environment
- Plan and prepare developmentally appropriate~brain compatible experiences and opportunities for babies to encounter and engage
- Employ a variety of educational techniques such as humming, singing, storytelling, reading, sign language and reciting rhymes that lays a strong foundation for babies growth and development
- Observe and document various scenarios to track babies growth and development
- Provide accurate information and encouragement to parents
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience as an infant caregiver~teacher
- Familiarity and understanding of philosophies, principles and practices of early childhood care and learning
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- CDA/BSc/BA in education or relevant field
