Manager of Human Resources
A world leader in constant velocity technology for the automotive industry, is currently seeking a qualified Manager of Human Resources for our Columbus Indiana operation.
Currently has 1700 employees working in our Columbus operation and customer demand for our product is growing rapidly. manufactures Constant Velocity Joints (CVJs) for all of the major automotive companies. These customers include Honda, Ford, Toyota, GM, Tesla, Chrysler and most other automotive OEMs.
Position Description:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs within their assigned Plant and the entire Columbus operation.
Human Resources Manager Job Duties:
- Administers policies and programs relating to employee relations within the plant. Provides policy direction, guidance and general assistance to the Management and administrative staff.
- Counsels with Executive management on matters involving organization structure and personnel. Develops recommendations as deemed necessary for review.
- Coordinates and administers approved programs to assure continuous, timely and effective employee communications.
- Monitors and administers employee relations policies and programs such as salary administration, safety, 401k, training, supervisory development, recruitment, performance appraisals, service award and leaves of absence.
- Administers and implements policies and programs to insure positive employee relations.
- Provides continuous and timely information and evaluation to appropriate levels of management of current, pending or developing labor relations matters.
- Administers the Affirmative Action Program.
- Reviews employee relations and administrative procedures and record keeping functions within the operation.
- Participates in company sponsored events, (i.e. Golf Outings, Employee Family Day, Children’s Christmas Party) civic and charitable campaigns, as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Relations or applicable Degree Program. (Master’s preferred)
- 10 years, of progressive successful experience in Human Resources
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management or Senior Generalist experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- PHR / SPHR preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
