What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relationship Manager position at First Commonwealth Bank?
Assists with the administration of trust accounts in accordance with the standards established by Wealth Management. The incumbent in this position is responsible for 200-250 core client account relationships and the growth and profitability of their book of business. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of personal fiduciary trust principles; skill in maintaining effective relationships, communicating technical ideas and concerns, and the ability to work closely with team members to deliver a full array of integrated solutions and meet client expectations. Understands the circumstances of their client base and provides appropriate financial planning advice and solutions.
Essential Job Responsibilities____________________________________
1. Assists with client relationship management and retention of client base. Develops and maintains effective communication with clients, prospects and support areas – including in-person meetings, telephone and written communication. Executes the Client Relationship Management Program.
2. Provides financial planning and advice for Clients.
3. Administers accounts and assigns daily duties for efficient and accurate processing of account activity.
4. Assists with the review of fiduciary tax preparation.
5. Develops business and attains established goals.
6. Maintains client relationships and assists partners in the development of new business opportunities while proactively increasing assets under management.
7. Assists with all activities related to the administration and asset management of assigned accounts, ensuring accounts comply with legal documents.
8. May participate in court appearances representing First Commonwealth Wealth Management.
9. Works with various account types, as assigned, including but not limited to estate administration and guardianships.
10. Works with estate administration and guardianship accounts.
11. Assists with securities and special assets and effectively communicates with support areas to meet account objectives. Understand specific investment strategies for assigned accounts.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications_____________________________
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred. Must obtain PBA Trust School certificate within 2 years of hire.
2. A minimum of two (2) years related experience required.
3. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint
4. Regional travel will be required.
