Sales Associate

Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a part-time salesperson to join our team. Must be at least 21 and be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Experience/knowledge of firearms, ammo, and accessories is desired, but not required.

Duties:
•Greets all customers with excellent customer service and salesmanship

•Experience in operating cash register, personal computer and various software packages, including POS and inventory management systems is desired

•Perform other related duties as assigned by management

•Demonstrates constant awareness of firearm safety

•Executes all required firearms paperwork within legal parameters

•Provides product knowledge and helps locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires

•Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, performing repetitive motions and lift 20 lbs

•Standing and walking the entire work shift

•Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs, including evenings, holidays and weekends

Qualifications:
•The right candidates will have an outgoing personality and retail sales experience

•Firearm knowledge not required

•Additional skills such as excellent interpersonal skills, computer literacy, ability to multi-task and being a team player are also important factors

•Readily able to study and develop a knowledge base of company products, policies, and procedures

•Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and accessories helpful

•Knowledge of ATF Compliance regulations helpful

•Should have some background or experience around firearms and must be comfortable working in the firearms industry

•Retail sales or customer service experience desired

•Must be legally able to purchase and posses firearms to ensure compliance of firearms sales department and must be at least 21 years of age

•Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment

•Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all associates

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
