Overview
The role of the Sales Assistant is to assist the Account Executive(s) with getting a new files set up and ready for processing. The ability to do this accurately and efficiently is important to the processing of the file from start to finish so that the loan closes on time. Leads and resources are provided for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Location: On-site in our East Lansing, MI office
Responsibilities
- Sorting/splitting/labeling docs when a file is submitted
- Request eligibility docs from broker that are needed to send to Credit Underwriter
- Income calculation, complete Income workbook
- Appraisal department contact/issues
- Pipeline meetings with processor
- Follow up on eConsent/eSign/Intent to Proceed (ITP)
- Lending tech logins
- Update Encompass contacts/new CRM
- Broker agreement follow up
- Copy Email chains into conversation logs
- Add Purchase Agreement dates to Encompass
- Completing Dead File checklist when needed
Qualifications
- 1 year of sales experience
- 1 year of mortgage or lending experience preferred
- Will train the right candidate
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English a bonus
