First-Rate Movers is hiring immediately for a full-time Professional Mover position.

OUR INDUSTRY LEADING PAY STRUCTURE

• $15 to $18 an hour in the Mover position.
• Tips: average $500 per month (approximately $3 to $5 an hour)
• W2 Full employee benefits (not 1099) with Workers Compensation to protect you if you get hurt

Professional Mover Duties and Responsibilities:

• Moving Furniture and Items of Residential and Commercial Clients
• Load and unload large items to and from box trucks
• Efficiently pack smaller items into boxes, taking care to protect fragile goods
• Wrapping Furniture in Protective Blankets and Shrink Wrap
• Ensure no furniture or other property is damaged
• Unpack items and arrange new spaces for use according to customer specification
• Maintain company equipment and assets such as tools, equipment, trucks, etc.
• Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
• This is NOT a 9-5 job, you may be asked to work 10 - 12 hour days and other days may be 4 - 5 hours.

Professional Mover Requirements and Qualifications:

• The physical ability to lift and move heavy objects throughout a normal workday
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• A positive, collaborative attitude and professional demeanor
• Demonstrate safe work practices
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routine
• Reliable transportation to get to work
• Prior moving experience not required
• Able to work night, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Bilingualism a plus
• A high school diploma or GED certificate (preferred but totally not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Millsboro, DE 19966: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
