NON- EXEMPT JOB TITLE: Client Relationship Specialist
REPORTS TO: Chief Lending Officer
POSITION SUMMARY: The Client Relationship Specialist is responsible for providing clients with excellent experiences and facilitate client retention by building strong customer relationships. Evaluate client profiles to understand and recommend new product offerings to increase revenue flow.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Specific
- Develop strong and trusted banking relationships with prospective clients and expand existing relationships with current clients through timely and accurate communications.
- Demonstrate commitment, dependability, and respect for other team members with regular and predictable attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability.
- Manage high volume of client contacts to ensure excellent customer service
- Remain customer-focused, respond promptly to customer issues, questions, and concerns, provide consistent and effective service with an emphasis on customer retention and expansion.
- Maintain and update documents related to client accounts and business reports.
- Develop new business opportunities in every client communication.
- Coordinate calls, meetings, and communications between management and clients.
- Validate and qualify new clients before referring to the appropriate loan officer.
- Know the features and benefits of bank products and services.
- Generate client reports on periodic basis.
- All other duties as assigned.
Bank Specific
- Exhibit professionalism, including in personal appearance and attitude.
- Provide assistance, information and support to co-workers.
- Provide prompt assistance and information to all customers (internal and external).
- Regular attendance. Report to work on time; adhere to time frames for breaks and lunch.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or human resources and a minimum of 1-2 years human resources required. Additional HR experience is preferred.
- LICENSE, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.: Valid motor vehicle driver’s license or provisional operator’s permit. Current licenses to sell appropriate securities and financial products.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA’S):
- Working knowledge of personal computer (Microsoft Office products).
- Ability to use general office machines.
- Must be attentive to detail and very accurate.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, management and other employees.
- Critical and analytical thinking skills, problem solving abilities.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and written.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Normal daily physical activities to include, walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling.
- Daily lifting up to 20 pounds (i.e. regular office supplies, storage boxes, files, etc.)
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indoors, environmentally controlled. This position may require travel by car to visit other company locations and make on-site customer visits. May require work on evenings and weekends to meet with customers.
