This position will report to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition and supports the Talent Acquisition team by utilizing a high level of administrative knowledge and technical expertise. The Talent Acquisition team supports and serves all FirstEnergy business units and management teams as involved in hiring processes, inclusive of the Co-op/Intern, contingent labor, and relocation programs. This support role is critical to the functionality of these teams and is utilized to support all the work activities completed within the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing a variety of complex technical administrative assignments requiring initiative, judgment and well-developed knowledge and skills.
- Coordinating background screening and drug testing, inclusive of results verification and compliance adherence knowledge.
- Event planning for registration and coordination of events, recruiter travel arrangements, and associated materials inventorying and shipping coordination.
- Utilizing the SuccessFactors “Staff My Organization (SMO)” Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage various stages of the recruiting process.
- Monitoring and managing the internal general recruiting mailbox (GenRecruit) and the external mailbox, exercising appropriate judgment in responding to inquiries.
- Coordinating the scheduling of employment interviews and utilizing the Concur tool to make candidate travel arrangements as necessary.
- Partnering with Recruiters in the preparation, proofing, and distribution of employment offer letters.
- Administering and scoring of pre-employment testing, including certified ability to administer and score EEI tests, and all associated testing support processes.
- Maintaining information on relevant internal SharePoint sites, and partnering with Communications to add content to the external FirstEnergy Careers website, as needed.
- Supporting all team members with routine, day to day, and administrative activities.
- Providing administrative support to Talent Acquisition leadership including invoice payment processing, travel arrangement coordination, and telephone support.
- Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality on projects and employee-related information.
- Taking initiative to solve problems and bring issues to closure.

Qualifications at the Admin Tech I level include:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 0-5 years work experience required.
- Prior experience in an administrative support or coordinator role.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Prior experience with SharePoint content maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of the SuccessFactors Recruiting module and/or knowledge of general recruiting processes preferred.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Must pass the Company’s EEI Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) test.
- Ability to follow established practices, procedures, and instructions, and produce technical administrative work products in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.

Salary : $38,400 - $48,600
