Required
- Two (2) years of acute care experience in appropriate clinical care area
- Registration as a professional nurse in the state of North Carolina multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact
- BLS
- ACLS- if in critical care areas
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate)
- S.T.A.B.L.E.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Experience providing care to a diverse population of patients/families.
- Commitment to providing nursing care that is patient and family centered.
- Compassionate, non-judgmental, respectful and accountable.
- Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.
- Experience in teaching patients and families.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members
- National certification in appropriate clinical area (i.e. CCRN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
