What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at FirstHealth of the Carolinas?
Facilitates timely delivery and receipt of all physician orders. Facilitates file preparation, transmission and completes follow up on Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) files. Assists the Office Manager with other duties as indicated.
Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent required. College Degree preferred. Medical office experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent computer skills. Must have excellent telephone and customer service skills. Must have the ability to perform and prioritize multiple functions or tasks. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the work force, both clinical and non-clinical.
