Job Summary:
We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for providing medical administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our home care office. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Collect patient information, update medical records, and verify insurance coverage
- Assist with billing and coding processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office space
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

- Weekends as needed
