Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Aoki ISBM machines as well as plastic injection-molding machines
• Set machine controls and regulates molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure, and time, according to plastics and molding procedures.
• Assist Mold Setters to safely complete mold changes and maintain quality parts at an acceptable cycle time
• Establish and maintain the set points to produce a quality part at the optimum cycle
• Inspect all tools needed to complete mold change
• Troubleshoot molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Reset and start all material and conveyor equipment
• Start up and process robots
• Perform routine maintenance on molds, such as cleaning and fixing water breaks
• Record data on proper forms or books

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Injection Stretch Blow Molding, Injection Molding, and Extrusion Blow Molding is required
• Scientific processing knowledge
• 3-5 years of injection molding experience required in the Process Technician area.
• ISBM certification preferred
• Knowledge of robot operation and mechanical skills
• Experience with Plastic Injection Molding machines required
• Experience with the following tonnage Plastic Injection Molding machines highly desired: Aoki, Akei, Battenfeld, Cincinnati Milacron, & Sumitomo
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and production documentation
• Ability to respond to inquiries from management staff
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
