NOTE: This role will be hybrid/3 days onsite for candidates who are located in/around Jacksonville, FL.
About the role:
As a Programmer Analyst, you’ll help develop new fintech products that will change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This could involve working with bleeding edge technology while coding, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications.
About the team:
The Systematics Core Banking Solution offers end-to-end solutions for architecture, customer information (Relationship Manager), deposits (IMPACS & Savings Time), lending (Advanced Lending Solution Servicing Manager), and financial and management reporting.
Our team supports the deposits and customer applications for the clients running in the ASP. We are responsible for production support, incident remediation as well as development. We also support the World Wide Help Desk for the deposits applications.
What you will be doing:
Developing program logic for new applications and modifying logic in existing applications.
Coding, debugging, implementing and maintaining software applications, heavily concentrated in the Systematics deposits and related applications.
Maintaining and integrating new application components.
Ensuring deployment of system improvements.
Submitting tickets (SNOW) for migrating changes from low-risk environments to production.
Acting as gate keeper for project work, reviewing design documents, etc. to ensure standards are followed prior to implementation.
Addressing World-Wide Help Desk submissions related to deposits applications to facilitate a timely response/recommendation.
Participating in the annual Disaster Recovery Exercise.
Supporting production and test batch cycles.
Partnering with the Base Development group to facilitate communication involving clients and promote changes that are base eligible.
What you will need:
Experience with mainframe programs and applications
Experience with Systematics applications
Knowledge of modern, end-to-end systems development life cycles.
Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines.
Mature analytical skills with confidence and ability to grasp complex technical concepts.
Proficiency in communication of technical subject matter.
Ability to adapt and support a growing client base.
Organizational skills that accommodate multiple responsibilities concurrently.
A bachelor’s in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience.
Added bonus if you have:
Tax experience a plus
Financial/Banking industry experience preferred
Knowledge of FIS Products and Services preferred.
