Workforce Analyst

About the team
The global Workforce Analytics team focuses on understanding strategic business initiatives and connecting them to talent opportunities. We use data to measure how well we attract, develop and retain a diverse workforce in the right place, at the right time.
What you will be doing
Your main objectives are to (1) onboard and deploy talent insights through Visier, our core people analytics tool. This includes defining technical requirements, managing systems configurations, validating data, managing the quarterly release schedule and user security; and (2) perform analyses that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions around hiring, developing and retaining a diverse workforce.
You will accomplish this by establishing relationships across The People Office (HR), becoming proficient in our people systems (e.g., Workday, Visier, Glint, etc.) and combining contextual knowledge with your technical skills. Above all, you are exceedingly analytical in nature, detail oriented and open to learning new skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to determine system configuration and/or customization required within Visier. Liaise with internal Visier users and external Visier support to help design, validate, and enable new metrics and features.
- Meet with stakeholders to assess problem statements, ask the right questions, determine whether a problem exists and examine your workforce intelligence applications (Visier, Glint, Workday, etc.) for trends and evidence that could support actions to solve the problem
- Manage the user security process in Visier, including new user setup, quarterly re-certification and ongoing maintenance of existing user profiles.
- Create, deploy, and manage custom analytical content for Visier users and other key stakeholders, automating where possible.
- Research and resolve data integrity issues. Perform monthly and quarterly maintenance.
- Manage Visier’s quarterly release schedule, including understanding, enabling, and communicating feature enhancements to the broader user base.
- Become an expert on what data is available across FIS and make suggestions to improve the quality of how we collect and use information with the goal of increasing data literacy across HR. Proactively share knowledge with other members of analytics team.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience extracting/ cleansing/ visualizing HR data
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to explain and visualize complex data to non-technical colleagues
- Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations through proper planning. Can create presentations and conduct meetings.
- Experience successfully creating and managing a project from inception to completion
Nice to have (not required)
- SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI or other relevant data manipulation skills
- Vendor management experience
- Experience with Visier
- Agile methodology
