About the role:
Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects.
Projects may be focused on development of new or upgraded products and services, internal information system-specific projects that may involve development or enhancement of internal applications, technology integration and/or infrastructure environment build-out, delivery by service teams for outsourced solutions to external clients or delivery of new or enhanced products and/or services to improve customer satisfaction through use of technology.
What you will be doing?
Investigates known error conditions and follows prescribed error correction procedures.
Recognizes abnormal processing conditions and determines appropriate actions required to resolve issue(s) and complete processing.
Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.
Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.
Analyzes and implements changes or additions to software systems and procedures.
Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager or leader.
Follows escalation procedures when appropriate to resolve processing problems and user problems in a timely manner and meet service levels and other standards for the job.
Makes use of available documentation to resolve errors.
When solving a system problem, makes effective use of tools and resources, utilizes manuals, write-ups and other tools as an aid in solving the problem. Contacts others experienced in area for ideas about problem.
May identify new tools, technology or processes that improve the overall processing environment or processing efficiency.
Maintains the enterprise resource planning systems and ensures data structure is accurate.
Provides recommendations to operations leadership on system errors and/or process errors in the Digital Banking lifecycle.
Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
Provides business line reporting to identified stakeholders and provides appropriate insights.
Builds budget and financial forecast and coordinates with delivery team to plan out resources.
Adds resource data entry records to ERP software systems and makes appropriate corrections from project teams.
Administers time sheet buckets to appropriate business resources as directed from Practice Management Lead.
May perform special projects upon request and on occasion.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will need:
Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
Knowledge of financial services industry
Knowledge of company's products and services
Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines.
Added Bonus if you Have:
Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools, such as earned value database, audit tools, project repository, including risk, issues and action items database, SLIM Estimate, Metrics and Control, PlanView, Platinum Process Continuum
