What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Support Tech position at Fiserv, Inc.?
What does a successful Production Support Tech do at Fiserv:
- Read and understand Customer Specific Requirements
- Unit Identification (Product, Type, Track),
- Reworks recommended components of units according to recorded failure.
- Ability to read and interpret Digital Multi Meter.
- Download, configure and test all units according to set procedures.
- Inspect for cosmetic failures.
- Fully erase any old program stored in unit as needed.
- Disassemble mechanical, electronic and plastic parts.
- Download appropriate test program into unit and fully test functionality of unit as needed.
- Using documented procedures, repair electronic equipment by replacing electronic or mechanical components within in the correct orientation and location (no Soldering necessary)
- Reinstall electronic components into electronic subassemblies with correct orientation and location.
- Reassemble, clean and test units.
- Records failures onto paperwork and into tracking system
- Report any informational discrepancies between the unit and its associated paperwork.
What you will need to have:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year work experience in a production environment or equivalent technical education
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
