What does a Finance Shared Services Billing Analyst do?
The Billing Analyst, FRMS will perform client billing processes for a division of Fiserv. We seek an energetic, engaging, and insightful professional who will actively participate in the monthly billing of Fiserv clients; working to deliver accurate and timely invoices and implement process improvements. The candidate must have strong analytic skills to interpret contract language and accurately reflect terms to the client invoice and have solid technical skills to manage large amounts of data accurately and efficiently. Candidates must embrace change and work within a team to achieve goals.
As a Billing Analyst, you will:
Assume ownership of billing processes for an assigned book of business, including contract setup, data preparation, billing, and analysis for an assigned book of business
Accumulate source data from multiple sources, maintain contract rates, invoice and credit memo issuance within SAP
Review and analyze client contract for proper billing; work with account management and product teams to ensure client is billed as expected
Research and resolve client inquiries and issues
Perform invoice analysis and variance research
Manage new client contract and current client renewal analysis and setup
Evaluate billing workflow for process improvement opportunities
Participate in internal and external audit activities
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required
Accounting and/or billing experience
Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and macros
Demonstrates critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills, and technical acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels, embrace change, and work within a team to accomplish goals
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem- solving environment
Flexible, self-starter who is willing to take initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and meet required deadlines
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
SAP and SAP Business Warehouse experience
Advanced Excel, Access, and/or database skills
