What does a great FI Support Specialist do? With the launch of the new Credit Choice program, Fiserv is looking for a motivated FI Support Specialist to assist Financial Institutions with the management of their credit card portfolio while also providing training and motivating consistent participation in the various program components.

By providing streamlined guidance and problem resolution to build FI relationships, this new role is crucial to the success of the Credit Choice program at Fiserv. You will be provided with opportunities to build client relationships with community financial institutions, assist in their financial success, assist them in servicing their cardholders, and motivate best practices in the credit card industry. A critical pillar of the Credit Choice program is a differentiated, high-touch client experience. You will have the ability to provide such an experience for clients through a cutting edge and market changing program launching into the credit landscape.

This role will rely on strong interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve client confidence through prompt resolution and consistent turnaround times with clear expectations. You will also assist in managing the plastics inventory and setup for each financial institution as a crucial member of the implementations team. You will have the opportunity to be one of the first Fiserv associates to demonstrate a world class service standard, and you will be crucial the end results of the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently analyzes and monitors the Agent Bank Portfolio to identify and implement strategies for operational efficiency, cost savings and business management.
  • Provide training and support for all financial support associates
  • Leads the overall incidence response process between the financial institution and Fiserv and is the key point of contact for researching and resolving issues, owning it until resolved.
  • Develops cross-functional alignment and consensus around issue resolution and establishes strong working relationships with other areas of the business to ensure quality support.
  • Works on complex tasks, issues and environments.
  • Responsible for plastics inventory and set up for each financial institution
  • Responsible for all insert inventory required for each card for each financial institution
  • Responsible for all logo management and updates for each financial institution
  • Assist in project management for the launch of new Agent FIs
  • Decisions have a considerable impact on the end results of the business unit.
  • Other duties as assigned and directed by management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1 years of financial or customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Knowledge and experience in banking, processing, or credit cards

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to organize and communicate effectively, using strong interpersonal skills, with multiple clients through multiple channels with consistency and within precise time frames
  • Ability to problem solve with precision and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision toward the achievement of individual and team goals.
  • Ability to increase application volumes and cardholder spend for Client FI’s on an annual basis
  • Ability to motivate community financial institutions and maximize client satisfaction and retention
  • Ability to manage complex processes and procedures to fulfill FI needs with regards to inventory, collateral, and any other program needs
