The Warehouse Operations Manager effectively manages and supports a team, made up of warehouse employees, and the workflow of their day to day responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
- Effectively overseeing the day-to-day receiving duties of the Warehouse employees to include proper planning, delegation of work assignments, work prioritization and labor allocation
- Provide training, coaching and support for all employees in their assigned job duties
- Provide direct leadership in the receipt of inventory, stocking of shelves, space optimization and housekeeping
- Ensuring that an atmosphere of safety and respect for associates and customers exists in our warehouse at all times
- Assist in producing staffing plans to meet demand that may be predicated by increases to our business volume or opportunity, as needed
- Hold associates accountable to measurable KPI’s and ensure they meet performance expectations
- Ensuring that an atmosphere of safety, professionalism and respect for associates and customers exists in our warehouse at all times
- Communicates issues, opportunities and obstacles as they arise
- Promote a positive and productive work environment
