Role Overview
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned materials requiring copy for owned channels
- Adopts a 360 mindset to storytelling, with an emphasis on social and email to connect the dots and support a consistent, compelling story across all mediums
- Collaborate with key cross-functional teams on copy development for their channels, understanding the right balance of channel best practices and brand voice
- Assist in overseeing marketing emails and social media copy needed to support the business. Additional editorial copy/ad hoc copy as needed
- Audit and optimize existing channel copy for performance, consistency and cross-channel alignment
- Provide guidance on SEO and SEM strategies to ensure high ranking search results
Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or equivalent experience
- 3 years of copywriting experience at a brand creative team or creative agency
- Digitally native, with an understanding of copy best practices within digital spaces
- Able to effectively partner with key stakeholders and manage multiple projects at once
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving and entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to lend copy expertise to other areas of business as needed
- Bilingual in Spanish, German or other language preferred, not required
- Experience and passion for automotive industry and/or sustainability highly preferred
