Fitness Quest, a leader in outpatient physical therapy, is seeking a Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Coordinator at our Longboat Key, FL location.
Our team of Front Desk Coordinators are the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, will be courteous, friendly, and take initiative to complete all tasks.
Duties for the position include: Welcome and register patients, Answer multi-line telephone system, Verify eligibility of benefits, pre-authorizations, and insurance, Utilize EMR system and other computer systems to schedule patients, collect payments, collect and organize all required documentation, Follow all state HIPPA regulations and CDC guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer skills
- experience in an office environmen
Successful candidates for this position will have the following preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and EMR/EHR systems
- The ability to demonstrate their competency using a multi-line phone system, process credit card payments, utilize online banking and insurance websites, and efficiently schedule patients.
