Working as a District Manager (Corporate Dining) you will lead, run, and encourage a team in your region. Collaborate with the regional leadership team and provide planning, direction, and mentorship to the accounts in your territory, while establishing and maintaining strong client relationships. Your goal is to achieve operational and financial goals in a dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the district in compliance with established company policies and procedures, and in conjunction with the Vice President's guidance.
- Manages in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensures consistent and equitable administration of District personnel policies, procedures, and guidelines to facilitate effective employee relations.
- Coordinates activities with other Districts and departments.
- Performs operational audits of district units and designs improvements to optimize financial performance, operational productivity, and to ensure conformance with government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation, and record keeping.
- Observes typical meal service when visiting units.
- Evaluates food for taste, temperature, appearance and portion size.
- Investigates complaints regarding unit operation and effects satisfactory solutions.
- Monitors and ensures development of realistic and accurate forecasts at the unit level and develops realistic and accurate District forecasts.
- Ensures that each unit's financial performance meets or exceeds EUREST and client forecasts.
- Makes proper use of customer attitude/food preference surveys. Attend appropriate food service committee meetings.
- Participates actively in the sales process; conducts client negotiations and coordinates documentation of contract changes.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
