What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Driver position at Five Star Food Service, Inc.?
At Five Star Food Service, our Transport Driver is responsible for picking, packing, and loading orders to deliver to our Pensacola, FL and Dothan, AL branch locations. This position is an independent role that should be comfortable with long distance driving, have experience driving a box truck and a customer service attitude.
Transport Driver responsibilities include:
- Picking, packing, loading, and delivering drink/food items to two different branch locations
- Driving 18-26 ft. box truck from Mobile, AL to Pensacola, FL to Dothan, AL locations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely and engages in job duties to ensure the safety of the company owned vehicle
- Keep accurate inventory records/reports and provide sales receipts
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs ; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.
- Route Drivers are required to be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to consent to a drug screen
- Must be able to consent to a background check
- Must be able to consent to and maintain a DOT Physical
- Must be able to consent to an MVR Check
- Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle
- Preferred experience in Route Driving and Customer Service

- Status: Full-Time
- Hourly Pay Rate: $13.00
- Work Day Requirements: Monday-Friday (4am-12:30pm)
