Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and a passion for human resources.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or a related area within Human Resources.
- Support the HR department in implementing various HR programs and procedures
- Assist in recruitment efforts by coordinating, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Conduct initial screenings of potential candidates
- Assist in organizing and maintaining employee records
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters
- Assist in performance management processes
- Help with data entry and maintenance of HR information systems
- Support in affirmative action planning and compliance
- Aid in project management tasks related to HR initiatives
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Scheduling employees
Skills:
- Proficiency in administrative tasks within a human resources setting
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to conduct interviews and assist in performance management processes
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and HRIS systems
- Familiarity with Salesforce or willingness to learn
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
