The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.
Overview:
Coordinates the processing of financial information and payments required to meet operational,
managerial, regulatory reporting requirements, and assisting with all accounting inquiries.

- Prepares daily cash deposits.
- Processes all vendor invoices and related cash disbursements on a weekly basis.
- Maintains accounts payable paid invoice files.
- Prepares general journal entries on a monthly basis.
- Prepares miscellaneous billings and month-end statements.
- Reconciles all bank statements and various asset and liability accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepares monthly financial reports for all funds.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Finance Director
- Bachelor’s degree required, accounting major preferred; finance or business majors must
have a minimum of 4 accounting courses (2 of which must be non-introductory in nature)
and related work experience; equivalent work experience considered in lieu of degree. - Reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable experience preferred.

Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing software required. Prefer Microsoft
Office and Quick Books experience.
