Purpose
Gain behind-the-scenes retail experience and provide support to the North Star Science Store. As a retail assistant, you will help maximize store operations, especially during peak hours. This position keeps you busy and is a lot of fun!
Key Responsibilities
Help with new merchandise and pricing
Floor management and observation
Warehouse assistance: receiving, ticketing, and stocking
Assist with restocking the store

- Reliable, punctual, honest, and friendly
- Demonstrate careful attention to details

Time Commitment
Shifts are four hours long.
Ideally, two shifts per week.
Training
Volunteers are required to attend an orientation before their first shift. In addition, retail assistants will receive training during their first few shifts.
