What We Need FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Director of Marketing. In this role, you will develop, implement, execute marketing campaigns and content. The ideal candidate will be able to study industry indicators; identify customers and their current and future needs, build research and content based on those findings as well as monitor our competitors. This person will work closely with brand marketing team members to establish a clear strategy, work closely with internal team members and sales teams to implement plans, measure results, and optimize based on learnings. Ideal candidates have an innovative approach to marketing with a passion for technology, online media, driving revenue and measuring results. They will also need to develop, implement, and execute product marketing strategies across the business. The ideal candidate will be able to determine the most appealing features of our products as well as user experience and promote them to prospective and current customers. They must be experts on the insurance industry with a focus on products and features to properly market them and to inform customers of our values and benefits. They will also need to conduct thorough research on competitors and will perform market research to understand what our customers look for in their ideal products. You will report directly to SVP of Marketing and regularly collaborate with various teams and departments. How We Work As a Director of Marketing you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing: • Assigned workspace in our Buckhead office • Company-issued equipment & remote access • Monthly home internet stipend Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: • Creating and executing an inbound sales and lead generation process to grow the channel. • Building a strategic marketing plan for the LOB and then execute plan, content, and overall outreach strategies. • Measuring and reporting performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). • Identifying trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights. • Understanding the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned. Assisting in building the product roadmap to combat the competition. • Building programs with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target personas. • Understanding and documenting our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn. • Developing a marketing plan for the products supported in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers. • Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies. • Researching new strategies and areas of growth in the overall growth plan. • Building content, landing pages, marketing and sales collateral and execute with internal teams. • Utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points. • Leading and collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners. • Partnering with brand VP to develop and execute all assets in promotion of key initiatives.
