RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is family-owned, independent insurance agency is hiring a Customer Service Representative / Commercial Lines Account Manager. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*phone interaction and in-person interaction with current customer base. Interaction involves fielding customer requests, agency management documentation, processing of policy changes, billing inquiries and answering general policy questions.
*interaction with HawkSoft agency management system involving new business policy declarations, renewal policy declarations, policy changes, cancellations, etc.
*the administration of an existing commercial book of business. The primary focus will be the handling of our existing, small accounts division. This role will also be involved in a support capacity with larger commercial accounts.
*providing personal lines customer service duties. For account rounding of commercial clients and our large personal lines book of business, this is vital to our value offering.
* involvement in team office meetings. Meetings focus on reviewing new accounts written, policies recently lost, office / workflow improvements, customer / carrier challenges, recent customer claims, etc.
In addition to the above duties, the candidate will have the potential for future advancement and additional job title/duties including:
-large commercial account manager: for long-term clients with larger accounts this role would involve preparing, offering and conducting annual account reviews with the customer. Reviews are conducted via phone, email and in-person.
-social media liaison: assisting agency owner in social media content, posting and being involved in web-development meetings.
-claims liaison: being the point person to receive notice of current customer claims, making initial contact with agency customers affected, working with insurance company claims adjusters on behalf of our clients and making the client’s claims experience a positive one.
Salary : $62,400 - $72,800
