Job Summary The Director of Global Account Management will be based in the Chicago area and is responsible for the management, growth, and profitability of multimillion-dollar key accounts assigned to the position. This individual will work with the supporting Flex sites (production and design) to meet the key performance metrics required by the Customer and Flex. The Director of Global Account Mgt will have the responsibility of growing the relationship with customers, at all levels necessary, to be able to understand their business to know where and how Flex can add value towards their business objectives and to provide proactive solutions to meet Customer's business needs while expanding Flex's revenue. What a typical day looks like: Monitoring of key milestones ensuring adherence to identified timelines and deliverable of key objectives for specific activities. Ensure alignment of defined strategies between the Flex manufacturing sites Manage customer relationships on a global basis and is the Customer's single point of contact globally for all product programs and operational performance issues escalated beyond site Management Facilitate internal and external communication between Flex vertical partners. Coordinate / manage Global Customer business reviews on a quarterly basis Input into Customer Contract development and ensure that both operations and customers adhere to contract requirements. Coordinate full or part system programs between different Flex organizations (e.g., PCB, Enclosures, B/P, Plastics, Design & Test, etc.) and functions (e.g., Supply chain, Manufacturing, Design, Quality, etc.) Ensure Use and Sharing of best practices and Standardization of Flex and Customer processes and procedures. Establish performance measurements for Global PM Organization to maximize profit and reduce liability (CSMP, KOI, P&L, etc.) Demonstrates functional, technical, and people and/or process management skills and Customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business. Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industries. Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical areas or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
