Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or someone with up to two years of experience in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and improve mechanical components and systems for our innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Conduct feasibility studies and stress analysis to ensure designs meet required specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and production, to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Assist in the prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs and modifications to existing designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to the production team.
- Identify and implement design improvements to enhance product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, materials, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
