Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate their duties
- Supervise food production to ensure high quality and efficiency
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and storage of food supplies
- Develop menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary best practices
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Experience in managing a dietary department is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and restaurant operations
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
