The Role
As Scrum Master for our growing development teams, you will lead their collaboration and identify dependencies and risks, resolve blockers, make use of metrics to improve delivery and leverage Agile best practices to optimize velocity, quality and predictability. You are a true humble-leader, here to help the teams do their best work and balance best practices, experiments and flexibility to suit the situation.
How you'll make an impact:
- Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies using best practices and flexibility to suit the team’s way of working, while coaxing them toward greater efficiency
- Ensure that goals, scope and product domain are understood by everyone as well as possible
- Coaching the development teams in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Finding techniques for effective product backlog management
- Guiding the teams in estimating practices and facilitating estimates
- Blocking and tackling, running things to ground, protecting the teams while making sure they’re responsive to the needs of the business
- Fostering an environment of continuous improvement and team empowerment so that our teams reach their full potential for productivity, engagement and morale
We're looking for people who:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach for a software product. Experience with both front end and back end products is preferred
- Servant Leader, low-ego, excited to be a team player and make those around them successful
- Enthusiastic team player with outstanding organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
- Knowledge of various Agile approaches like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc
- Strong Jira experience, with the ability to build roadmaps and track dependencies across multiple teams
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth startup environment.

💰Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $135,000-$150,000 as well as stock options
