The Helpdesk Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support for one or more operational locations. Facilitates issue/incident discovery, analysis and resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build effective relationships with operational employees based on trust and competence
- Provide technical assistance in support of desktops, laptops, third-party and custom software, printers and network connectivity
- Assist with training and training material creation
- Monitor, assess and recommend improvements to solutions
- Adhere to Service Level Agreements when responding to incident and outages
- Maintain effective communication with issue/incident reporters, including action items and timeline expectations
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Is a result-driven individual and strategic thinker
- Is proactive, requiring minimal supervision, and highly organized
- Has the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Communicates effectively and simplifies complexity
- Works comfortably in a collaborative setting with senior departmental leadership

- 0-2 years of IT Support and/or Helpdesk experience
- 0-2 years of direct customer service experience
- Knowledge of Web and Mobile Applications.
- Knowledge of Desktop, Laptop and Printer support
- Travel up to 10%
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs and be able to set up computer/tech equipment.
- High School Diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
