Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance under the direction of the General Manager. This role is responsible for all inventory movement throughout the dispensary including receiving, restocking, transfers and inventory audits. The ideal candidate will be detail orientated, organized, practice effective time management and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. We are looking to fill this position in our Humansville dispensary which is open 7 days a week. This role is full time and your schedule will be mostly days. Scheduling flexibility may be required as needed for the business.

Job Duties

· Handle the receipt of incoming deliveries by ensuring orders match shipping manifests and purchase orders

· Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting detailed stock counts during receiving and audits

· Correctly enter all incoming deliveries into POS and statewide track and trace systems

· Partner with dispensary management to promote inventory accuracy throughout the dispensary

· Move product from vault to sales floor as needed for restocks

· Use POS and statewide track and trace systems to pull inventory reporting and evaluate stock levels

· Identify product needs and feedback and communicate these to management

· Maintain a clean and organized vault

· Have a comprehensive knowledge of all products, the cannabis industry, and of any relevant cannabis-related subject matter

· Demonstrate effective and positive communication with dispensary staff regarding inventory

· Maintain and contribute to a positive and welcoming environment

· Act as a team player assisting with overall store responsibilities as directed by management

Qualifications

· Must be 21 or older to apply

· High School Diploma (or equivalent) required

· Able to pass a Federal Background check

· Must be able to obtain a Missouri Agent ID through the Division of Cannabis Regulation

· 2 years retail or inventory management experience

· Experienced with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, and retail POS systems

· Proficient at basic mathematics and reporting

· Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Inventory control: 2 years (Preferred)
