RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for overseeing the training of newly hired nurses and employees hired in the Medical Assistant Trainee program. Will develop and administer training programs for nursing staff, both for the newly hired nurses and ongoing education. Will develop and present both classroom and on-the-job training programs for graduate RNs, LPNs, and MAs on assessment skills, and for newly graduated MAs and CNAs hired to work in the clinic labs. QUALIFICATIONS Active Florida RN license required or more years of recent oncology experience required. Active CPR/BLS certification is required. BSN degree strongly preferred. Certified CPR trainer strongly preferred. OCN certification required OR must be achieved at the next OCN testing date. Previous training experience preferred. Valid Florida’s Driver’s License for travel to clinics. Compliance with the FCS Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
