Job Summary:
Sprays surfaces of ceramic tile with glaze safely and efficiently while maintaining Florim's standard of quality by performing the following duties.
Requisites :
a. Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
b. Experience:
On the job training is provided. No previous experience is required to perform the job.

a. Competencies:
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Essential Functions:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Carefully complete a set up and operation inspection of the glaze tub equipment including visually inspecting equipment for defects and checking for proper materials as per SOP.
Monitor and maintain weight and densities of glazes as per SOP; report any deviations from specifications to team leader, production supervisor or technical staff, or take corrective action as required in SOP.
Continually monitor tile to insure that it is free of defects.
Clean equipment and surrounding area including sweeping, mopping and washing equipment; maintain a clean and tidy work area; help clean in other areas.
Adhere to all safety regulations, complete all safety training and wear required safety equipment per related safety SOP'S.
