Job Posting for Technical Inside Sales Representative at Flow Control Group
Summary
The role is designed to strengthen the position of the company in both sales volume and margin, as well as ensure that customers who call in are provided knowledgeable support for our product lines. Customers of this group include Resellers and End Users. The Outside Sales Representative will have general knowledge in specific product line applications and be able to assist customers with the knowledge to purchase the proper equipment for the application. Furrow Pump Outside Reps will support the growth of sales volume and margin for the company, by developing relationships and providing service to resellers and their customers. The Outside Sales Rep will be expected to assist with the flow of technical data, customer history, CRM updates, quotes and other customer relationship functions.
Responsibilities
Develop relationships with reseller customers.
Manage sales and margin growth within a market area.
Manage customer relationships to ensure proper resolution to technical challenges.
Confirm equipment configuration, availability, and pricing to meet customer needs.
Concept technical system solutions to accommodate system sales.
Update CRM with all pertinent sales activities.
Serve the intention of customer’s satisfaction, retention, and delight.
Experience
Demonstrated 5 years of successful business to business sales.
Technical aptitude is required to allow understanding of water treatment processes and how equipment works in those processes.
Understanding of pump hydraulics and pump application, specifically metering pumps.
Major water treatment component category expertise required, with 2 years direct experience in sales and support of those components.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while accurately moving each one to completion.
Ability to manage and process deals among multiple personality types to provide a positive outcome to each situation.
CRM systems experience.
Application experience in the Boiler Cooling chemical equipment market a plus.
Education
Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Administration, or a technical degree preferred.
Technical Water and Chemical Application schools a plus.
