Overview This position is ultimately accountable for the state of the company facilities as well as successful execution of all shop service repairs and field service repairs under the Service and Repair & Field Service headings. Coordinating facilities cleanliness, repairs, maintenance, etc. for the Gardena facility as well as remote warehouses/offices as required. Coordinating operations (specific to Service and Repair) to ensure that all service and repairs under this category adhere to company ISO 9001 requirements, maintain safety compliance for shop and personnel, and facilitate scheduling of repairs and testing to ensure on-time completion. Work cohesively with the Service Coordinator, Lead Shop Technician, Lead Field Service Technician and Shop Technicians for any/all S&R related jobs. Work with Service Coordinator to expedite orders to achieve monthly financial target goals and to provide daily status of all equipment in Service & Repair. Work hand in hand with Service Coordinator and General Manager to ensure all aspects of repair shop load, safety training, field services and shop organization are prioritized daily to meet or exceed customer expectations while adhering to the department’s financial objectives. General General requirements include, but are not limited to: • Ability to step up and take ownership of specific team efforts. • Ability to plan and organize jobs based on criticality, shop load and technician availability. • Develop a full and complete understanding of the CRM program • Understanding work process for critical shop and/or field service jobs • Proficiency with Microsoft: Excel, Word, Power Point, PDF, etc. • Ability to teach/mentor others as well as demonstrate role model behavior including support for diversity, leadership, teamwork, and customer focus. • Ability to create and promote an environment of trust and teamwork through actions and own behaviors • Ability to effectively coordinate individuals or groups, shop technicians, shipping & receiving, and vendors • Ability to schedule repairs on time and to meet the business objectives. • Ability to seek out company and customer's needs and prioritize own work accordingly • Create and develop a daily task list to ensure organization of shop area • Conduct daily shop walk-throughs to ensure shop cleanliness/organization • Conduct daily shop meetings with Shop Supervisor for planning effectiveness • Ability to communicate with principles to schedule required annual manufacturer training Service & Repair Coordinate operations S&R Department Daily Work Schedules (prioritizing repairs based on schedule and criticality. Assists with duties of “Branch Manager” for HSE for Floworks Safety Department assigned by General Manager.
