What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donor Services Officer- Floyd Foundation position at Floyd HealthCare Management?
The Donor Services Officer assists in all aspects of planning and implementing a comprehensive program to secure and maintain financial support and community involvement for Floyd Medical Center, working through Floyd Healthcare Foundation, Inc. This individual must be teachable, but also independent and resourceful, possess initiative, and be capable of productivity without constant supervision. The Officer serves as the Foundation Gift Accountant, providing donor relations support through gift entry, sending acknowledgments, and generating donor financial reports. He/she also provides support for the daily operations of the Foundation office.
Requirements:Qualifications:
A. Education
1. Associate's degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in Business, Nonprofit Management or a related field
2. Bachelor's degree or higher education preferred
B. Experience
1. Minimum of two years of experience with a nonprofit organization or in a related field
2. Required proficiency in MS Office products
3. Knowledge of accounting principles
4. Knowledge of fundraising programs
5. Proficient in Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge desired; willingness to be trained essential
6. Comfortable with public speaking
