CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Serve customers by providing them with sales quotes, proposals, drawings, service manuals, etc.
- Telephone contact with customers and prospects to maintain and cultivate professional business relationships.
- Learn, utilize and maintain technical equipment selection software; Outlook; MS Office software and others.
- Prepare, submit & manage quotations, proposals, orders, technical support information & data.
- Create and manage customer database of customer preferences, competitor activity
- Communicate on a timely and effective basis with customers and internal personnel about deliveries, pricing, products, and service issues.
- Plan, prepare, and execute targeted advertising campaigns.
- Establish an image with customers which results in a very high regard for the company, its service and its people. Perform related work as required.
- Help generate informative website content
- Manage equipment literature
- Compile application data, notes and pictures
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Must be a self-starter. Must be trustworthy, honest, dependable, reliable, conscientious, outgoing, and energetic, with “can-do” attitude. Must be able to work effectively with little direct supervision. Degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution or related Business field preferred. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; a strong attention for details; and must have excellent computer skills. Must be well organized, handle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines. 2 - 5 years of related experience preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
