What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Fluid Motion, LLC?
Fluid Motion, LLC - Manufacturer of Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs - is looking to expand its operations at its Monroe, WA facility.
Compensation: $20-$21.50/ DOE
Shift Hours: 5 am to 1:30 pm- Monday to Friday
Assembly:
Completes assembly on yacht construction, such as navigation equipment installation, completed upholstery installation, finished woodwork installation, cabinetry installation, amenity installation, according to specifications by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transports specified parts from storage to the work area manually or by using overhead crane.
- Removes burrs and rough surfaces from metal parts with a hand file or portable pneumatic grinder.
- Apply sealant to parts and fit parts together on bench according to SOP.
- Bolts, screws, and adheres parts together.
- Installs components into final install positions, connecting fittings and woodwork to lamination.
- Must have some experience with hand and power tools.
- Sets up and operates saws, sanders, and other bench tools.
- Connects electric wires to terminals of sub-assembly.
- Completes final assembly woodworking.
