What are the responsibilities and job description for the Virtual Inside Sales Account Manager position at Fluke?
Virtual Inside Sales Account Managers are responsible for facilitating the sales process to generate new sales opportunities or upsell of company products via telephone, email or other electronic communication. You will drive sales quota attainment by responding to leads, engaging in organic prospecting, and collaborating with our channel sales partners.

Primary responsibilities
- Facilitate Fluke’s sales process by directly engaging customers, responding to leads for your aligned territory, prospecting based historical data or commercial strategy initiatives, and collaborating with our distribution and channel partners.
- Build customer relationships to understand their needs and remain responsive to changing customer goals
- Prospect, source and prioritize new sales opportunities by phone and email to achieve your sales goals by maximizing customer-facing time
- Documenting all customer and channel partner interactions in our CRM
- Adapt individual communication approach by customer to provide solutions to their challenges
- Demonstrate perseverance and diligence to overcome customer concerns and close sales opportunities
- Generate profitable growth through quota attainment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or related experience)
- Previous experience in a customer facing role with comfort spending 50% or more of the day working with customers over the phone
- Excellent listening and communication skills to capture and address customer needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience
- Electrical or Electronic sales, or technical related experience
- Experience using customer relationship management tools (CRM), i.e., Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SalesForce
- Experience selling hardware solutions / understanding of capital equipment purchasing process
