A Day In the Life
Installation of curtain walls, store front frame assemblies, doors and hardwareSet up proper equipment for the day to day responsibilities such as ladders, lifts and scaffoldingAbility to lift up to 50lbs continuouslyClimb and descend a 40ft style extension ladderAdhere to job safety practices and protocolsOther duties as assigned
What We Are Seeking
Ideal candidate will have glazing systems and installations experience Ability to safely work at heightsStrong knowledge of hand/power tools in the tradeCan perform physical activities on a regular basisAnalyze information and evaluate problemsHand-eye-coordinationCan clearly communication with supervisors and co-workersSafely operate mechanical devices and equipmentKnowledge of glazing termsKnowledge of glass layouts and systemsAbility to read blueprints, detail drawing and must be able to create your own fabrication sketchExperience working with MSDS sheetsMust understand the importance of OSHA safety protocols, material data sheets, daily reports, site plans, specs, RFI, ASI, ECTAssist in drilling, cutting, and hardware installation for glass panels and framesAssist in the Fabrication of custom parts.Prepare materials for shipping: vinyl wrap glass, package, etc. Assist in loading and unloading deliveriesAssemble and build crates to ship materialAbide by safety rules and procedures Be willing to work in other shops when needed (ACM Panel, Sheet Metal Shop)
Travel Required
Ideal candidate will be able to travel within the state of UTAH, locations may include but limited to: St. George and LoganYou must have reliable transportation
