Job Summary
FMT is seeking a Sales Executive who will contribute to the company growth by developing relationships with Wealth Advisors to create new member partnerships. You will present and uphold FMT as the premier provider of tech-enabled marketing and client acquisition services by providing superior customer service and consultative approach in cold calls, emails and demonstrations to financial advisor partners. In the role of Sales Executive, you will transform the way we grow and serve our customers. This individual is a self-directed individual who likes the balance of simultaneously driving their own results while working on a team. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.
Things you will do
- Utilize consultative techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales
- Use resources (Internal marketing resources) as well as external (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) to cultivate leads and fill top of the sales funnel
- Qualify leads to determine likelihood of success with FMT’s services and promote to prospects
- Connect with wealth advisors via both marketing generated inbound leads and proactively create your own leads through outbound calls and emails.
- Qualify leads through systematic relationship building process
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospective wealth advisors thru exceptional, professional sales nurturing
- Utilize the CRM to manage the pre-sales cycle
- Partner closely with internal FMT teams (Account Management, Compliance, and Accounting) to ensure timely and coordinated advisor onboarding
- Effectively manage the sales cycle/CRM from sales planning, forecasting and nurturing to signed agreements.
- Provide updates on progress, challenge & opportunity areas and mentor team members for group success.
Things you have
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Executive, Account Executive, or similar role
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics (including outbound calling)
- Track record of achieving objectives and goals
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks including Microsoft/Google, CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot., etc.)
- Able to work comfortably, in a self-directed fast-paced environment.
