What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grade Checker position at FNF Construction?
FNF Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing heavy civil construction services throughout the Southwestern United States. We are seeking a journeyman-level Grade Checker with 5 years' experience grade checking on heavy highway projects. Must know how to read stakes and set grade. Candidates must be able to efficiently operate GPS Trimble Rover and TOPO while establishing lines and grades during earthwork operations and be able to read story poles. The grade checker will walk long distances, often on uneven surfaces, around active heavy equipment and machinery. The position is safety sensitive. Travel may be required.
