We’re currently looking for a Sales Executive, Employee Benefits, our resident experts on all things insurance, to understand what our clients’ needs are before they know it themselves.
What’s the work like?
You will...
- Solicit and cultivate qualified prospects, schedule appointments, complete applications and make sales presentations.
- Responsible for the overall design and implementation of the risk management program of our clients. This includes directing the utilization of all FNIC resources to clients.
- Cooperate and coordinate with all agency associates in the production and servicing of client accounts.
- Remain informed of all claims or service issues and become involved m resolution when required.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services offered by the agency.
- Achieve established production goals.
- Arrange payment terms for all accounts in accordance with agency credit and collections policy.
- Balance production to achieve desired mix of business. Promote products of carriers that the firm has identified as important.
- Keep abreast of trends and techniques and use agency selling aids to maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industry. Attend sales seminars, company sales meetings or other Sales Executive educational activities as required to improve sales abilities and product/industry knowledge, and maintain continuing education requirements.
- Actively participate in professional and community organizations and events to promote agency and insurance industry in the community.
- Any other special projects and duties as assigned

Requirements
What do I need to know?
You have to have…
- Valid Driver's License
- Resident Agent's License or the ability to obtain within 3-6 months of hire
- CIC, CPCU, CEBS, RHU, AAI completion essential
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
- Ability to conform with and abide by all workplace policies, work procedures, and instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Group Health insurance product knowledge preferred
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and electronic mail system (Outlook)
