Fontanese Folts Aubrecht Ernst Architects, P.C. is an award-winning firm which provides comprehensive planning and design services for a wide variety of markets, including Healthcare, Commercial, Municipal, Industrial, and Residential. We are currently hiring a Project Architect at our Orchard Park, NY office.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate. A successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills, as well as contribute to a positive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The overall expectations of the Project Architect position are to work on multiple projects with various project teams, including outside subconsultants, to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met and completed. An individual in this position needs to be capable of delegating aspects of work to the Project Support team and coordinating with all other disciplines. The Project Architect will assist the Project Principal with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration. In addition, the Project Architect must be motivated and capable of performing all duties with minimal guidance.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Registered Architect in the state of New York
• 10 years of experience preferred
• Prior experience working with government agencies (desirable but not required)
• Have thorough knowledge and understanding of New York State building codes
• Strong technical design and construction document skills
• Well-developed project design and planning skills
• Excellent graphic presentation skills
• CAD experience. (AutoCAD and Revit)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

SUPPLEMENTAL PAY:

• Bonus pay / Profit Sharing

SCHEDULE:

• 8 hour day / 40 hour week
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available

• Office (Not Remote)

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor
• B. Arch or M. Arch (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• AutoCAD Architecture: 10 years (Preferred)
• Revit and/or SketchUp: 6 years (Preferred)

SALARY RANGE:

$70,000 - $80,000 per year
