Job Title: Program Manager (IT) – Enterprise Management Software
Department: GlobalConnect/USConnect Operations
Reports To: Director of Program Management
Summary: GlobalConnect is looking for a talented and motivated individual as Program Manager for an enterprise management software for the unattended retail market utilizing cutting edge technologies to support a scalable enterprise multi-tenant database, AI/ML, native cross platform mobile, PWS, enterprise data warehousing and other technologies. This role is for a self-starter with proven project management experience eager to establish processes, scope and create project plans, and coordinate and drive execution. Cross-team coordination, project management and Agile experience are essential.
The responsibilities for this role are diverse and include collaborating with the development team, implementation team, support team, staff, and clients in a fast-paced environment. The Program Manager will act as the Product Owner of the scrum team to define product vision, roadmap, and communicate with stakeholders. They’ll monitor the progress of projects to keep them on schedule and make project/product decisions with guidance from the Director of Program Management. This role asks for creative thinking, collaboration, and the passion for delivering great software solutions. Knowledge of the Food Service Market and Vending industry preferred.
What you will do:
- Develop new processes for client enrollment, implementation, and support in collaboration with implementation team and support team
- Participate in Agile Scrum teams to define product vision, roadmap, and communicate with stakeholders
- Conduct user acceptance tests and ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with management, suppliers, and clients to analyze needs and align product roadmap with their goals
- Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
- Develop detailed product feature user stories and ensure they are clearly understood by relevant teams
- Monitor and evaluate product progress and communicate product status to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain product documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
- Work collaboratively with internal and external development resources on solution development of all aspects of the system
- Communicate clearly with team members, stakeholders, and clients to keep them informed and aligned with project objectives. This includes active listening and constructive feedback to reduce the risk of misunderstanding and delays.
- Commute to our primary office in Greensboro, NC. Occasional travel to client sites may occur.

What you will need:
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in order to drive alignment and ensure business project needs are met and are consistent with technology solution best practices
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the best practices, methods and techniques for project delivery
- Demonstrated and effective collaboration and communication
- Familiarity with service ticketing and project management software
- Ability to solve complex technical problems which consider the strategic and tactical implications
- Collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment
- Strong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone with both technical and non-technical staff
- Team-oriented strategist able to diplomatically manage numerous, quickly changing and complex situations, sometimes with competing constituencies
- Ability to create detailed documentation of business processes

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and able to handle multiple projects
- Problem solver who can take initiative and set priorities for the team while being flexible
Relevant qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management, or related field AND
- At least four (4) years program management or project management at a technology company and/or in a technical capacity
- Experience in the Food Service Market and Vending industry preferred
- Strong preference for candidates with certifications in addition to their education, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification The ideal candidate would bring a technical background and working understanding of large scale databases, API’s, and mobile or IoT experience.
