POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the deli profitable operation of the deli operation within the company guidelines. Perform duties which combine both food preparation and food service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plans and prepares food in an appealing fashion for customers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Clean and organize kitchen and service areas, keeping them free from safety hazards.
- Shops for food items for steam table and cases.
- Ensures all kitchen items are placed back in proper place after use.
- Follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by your supervisor.
- Makes the pulls and puts out fresh product.
- Follows food safety guidelines
- Makes out orders and checks them to ensure what is received is what was ordered.
- Does paperwork and can do inventory.
- Merchandise Departments for sales and gross profit.
- Price/ Tag/ Sign Verification
- Work toward Full-Fresh-Clean
- Makes sure all products are of the highest quality possible.
- Provide with assistance in food preparation or service.
- Present food in an appealing fashion.
- Organize all food items and utensils.
- Maintain good communication with the Deli Manager.
- Give all customers friendly, courteous and prompt service.
- Other job related tasks as required.
